Below are some devotional questions that go with the message for this Sunday.  You are encouraged to read them before, during, or after the message.  They could be for personal reflection, but could also be used for discussion in groups.

QUESTIONS for Matthew 20:1-16

Readings for Sunday, September 20: Isaiah 55:6-9, Psalm 27:1-9, Philippians 1:12-24, 19-30, Matthew 20:1-16
Readings for Sunday, September 27: Ezekiel 18:1-4, 25-32, Psalm 25:1-10, Philippians 2:1-4 (5-13) 14-18, Matthew 21:23-27 (28-32)
  • How long have you been a member of the “laborers in the vineyard”?  Do you have “enough time” on the crew to be guaranteed full pay?
  • How does entitlement show up in the church today?
  • How does God show His generosity with His grace?
  • The long-serving workers in the vineyard grumbled over the Master’s generosity with the short-timers.  What kinds of responses from the “long-timers” would bless the “short-timers” in the Body of Christ?

Use of Masks when on Campus

When you come to the church office, enter through the west entrance, sign in in the lobby, and then put on a face covering as you enter into the building.  This is to be done by all who come into the church office and any other public areas of the facility for the safety of staff and students.

Pastor Bruick is out-of-the office September 21-28 as he spends time with his family in Indiana.
