Questions for This Weekend
Below are some devotional questions that go with the message for this Sunday.  You are encouraged to read them before, during, or after the message.  They could be for personal reflection, but could also be used for discussion in groups.

Questions for July 31/Aug. 1 – Ephesians 4:1-16

  1. Considering God’s calling in your life to believe in Jesus as your Savior, what comes to mind for you when you think about this change in your life?
  2. St. Paul calls for Christ Followers to “walk” in a new way, living lives filled with humility, gentleness, patience, and bearing with one another.  Which of these ways is easier for you to “walk in”?  Which of these ways is harder?  Why?  What are your personal challenges?
  3. How can walking in these ways as Christ Followers assist in building the unity in the Body of Christ?  What keeps you from walking then in such a way?
  4. Take time to go back to Ephesians 3:14-21.  When we struggle to “walk in a manner worthy of the calling” to be Christ Followers, God reminds us that our efforts won’t change our walk.  From Ephesians 3:14-21, who is it that changes our walk?  How?
