–         Teaching Kids to Pray

A new article on Teaching Your Kids to Pray is available here!

Helping our children, at any age, to pray is a joy, privilege, and promise we parents make to the Lord. St. John continues to seek ways to support parents in this spiritual opportunity. Please take a moment to read this brief article with ideas on just how we can help our kids learn how to pray.

–         Parents Discussion via Zoom

Desire an opportunity to discuss with other parents issues related to parenting? Especially during these unusual days of eLearning, staying at home, social distancing, there is a need for parents to share with each other and support one another.

Just such an opportunity is being provided by St. John Lutheran. Each Wed. over the lunch hour (12:00-1:00 PM) and each Thursday evening 7:00-8:00 PM a Zoom meeting will be available for parents who register by emailing DCE Tim Rippstein (Tim.Rippstein@stjohnseward.org) to let him know which time you prefer. Discussion prompting questions will be offered, but open forum and open discussion are encouraged.
