Christ’s Cupboard News

Christ’s Cupboard has received generous donations from Dollar General in Seward. We are grateful for this assistance which has helped us share food with those in need in our community especially during the pandemic.

Thanks to the generosity of St. John members Christ’s Cupboard has received many cash donations. We are thankful that such donations allow us to purchase food when we are low on certain items. However, right now, so much has come in that we would ask you to hold off on cash donations to the pantry (directing them instead to the St. John general fund). We will let you know when our fund is getting low and additional help is needed. In the meantime, we will still accept in-kind donations left in the grocery carts at the west entrance. Your support has been and continues to be a great blessing to many in our community!     Christ’s Cupboard Committee

St. John family, Christ’s Cupboard is a place for everyone. If you need food, even if it’s just for a couple of weeks, or if you  know of someone who could use a little help, we encourage all of you to come. We are fully stocked, ready to help, and are practicing safe social distancing measures.  Pantry hours are Mondays 3-5 pm, Thursdays 6-8 pm and Saturdays 9-11 am.
