PTL & Governing Board

All parents who have children in St. John Child Development Center are automatically members of PTL.  No dues are collected.  Your attendance and cooperation are encouraged and appreciated.  Meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month during September, October, November, January, February, March and April.  The Parent Teacher League carries out a number of service projects each year, joining together the faculty, families, children and community.  The Child Development Center sponsors a Baked Potato Dinner during Lent.  Parents are always encouraged to participate.

The Education Board is accountable to the members of St. John Lutheran Church.  Their purpose is to develop operating policy and act as a decision making body for St. John School and Child Development Center in support of its ministry to meet the diverse needs of families with young children within and outside of our congregation.

The Education Board is made up of 12 elected members of St. John Lutheran Church with a variety of abilities, interests and skills to enable the Board to carry out its responsibilities.

The Board meets every second Monday of the month at 7pm.

As member’s terms end, CDC parents who are members at St. John Lutheran Church are encouraged to let the director know if they would consider nomination.
