Rates & Payment Procedures

Effective June 1, 2009
Terms of Enrollment: All families are required to enroll for a full week of care.  Requests for part-time enrollment will be permitted only as it can be balanced with other part-time requests.

Registration Fee: All children are required to pay a $40.00 non-refundable registration fee annually.

Educational and Care Program Fees:

Toddler Care (18 mos. – 36 mos.)

  • $149.00 per week
  • unlimited hours, no discounts
  • includes breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack

Preschool Only

  • Morning Session 8:45am-11:15am
  • 2 days          $83.00 p/month
  • 3 days        $106.00 p/month

Preschool with Extended Care

  • includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack
  • includes preschool

Before and After school care
$67.00 per week for St. John and Seward Elementary Students

(CDC does not provide transportation to Middle School or St. Vincent)

  • includes transportation only to St. John and Seward Elementary before and after school
  • includes breakfast and afternoon snack, (lunch on no school days)
  • no free absence/discounts except: * on scheduled No School days when the school-age child has registered to be gone *on No School Snow Days IF THE PARENT CALLS in the absence BEFORE 9am (all ages) * extended-day preschool children who have their ‘no-school day absence request’ form turned in by the due date at beginning of the year * scheduled summer vacation days that have been registered by the due date on summer registration form
  • EXTENDED DAY charges apply during the summer.

PAYMENT PROCEDURES

Registration fees are non-refundable.  Annual student registration fees apply toward 12 months of continued enrollment.  Pre-registration for the Summer and Fall sessions is held in March.  Half of the registration fee will be collected at that time and the balance will be due during the month of August.

All tuition fees are due on Monday of each week. Accounts may be paid any number of weeks in advance. Please see our Late Payment Policy below.

Fees and tuition payments may be made to any staff member.  Statements will be filed in the receipt box at the sign-in table unless your child has been issued a cubby.

LATE PAYMENT POLICY

All tuition is due Monday after receiving your bill for school-age, toddler and all-day preschool care.

Accounts that are past due more than two billing cycles will be charged a $25 fee. For example, a bill that goes out on the 1st will be due on the 8th. If not paid by the 16th, there will be a $25 fee. (If you have arranged with the office to pay twice-monthly, the bills from the 1st and the 8th must be paid by the 15th to avoid the $25 fee.)

Accounts that are past due more than three weeks will result in suspension of child care until the account is paid in full. We will reserve your child’s space for one month.

Preschool-only accounts should be paid in full by the next month’s bill.

If you are experiencing financial difficulty, please visit with the director to develop a payment plan. 

LATE PICK UP FEES

Parents picking up their children after the 6:00PM closing time will be charged $7.50 per child every 15 minutes.  This fee is to be paid directly to the person providing overtime care for the child(ren).  This does not mean that families have the option of using childcare past 6PM.  The late fee is to discourage late pick up.

Families arriving after 6PM on three different occasions may be asked to make other childcare arrangements which more adequately meets the hours needed for childcare.
